Spoiler Alert!At it was disconcerting how I was reading about Daz then they switched to her mum. So I wrongly assumed it would blend back in with the plot line. What plot line? After getting use to the author switching between the 2 characters she ends the book without telling use what happens to Daz's mum a character who takes up half the book. Neither does she reveal the outcome of the supposed uprising or explain the current political climate of the novel. She goes straight to the epilogue where Daz is pregnant but gives no indication of what happened when Hawk and the other soldiers when out or if the mission was successful. Basically the story is mostly sex with very little coherent plot line. The idea was a good one but the execution was very poor

A really interesting story with quite a few twists. Loved the sci-fi aspects and the disparity between Dazea's expectations and reality. The world building was good and the characters had depth. Enjoyed this story.
Interesting story line and had promise but it felt off and incomplete. I understand it's a short/novella but having too many POV doesn't help. Lots of questions too at the end. Is it suppose to be a series? Looking at some of the other books and though similar, they are different settings. If it's a series, I would like to know more about what happened and what came of the other side/minor characters.
This was quite an interesting sci-fi read. The plot idea is intriguing and the story flows quickly. A peek into the future with two different planets with two very different outlooks on the difference between men and women. And that's all I'm gonna say, no spoilers here. I got caught up in the story which has enough detail to help you imagine what you are reading, quite a bit of steam and some romance. I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
