Let me start by stating that I personally use this calendar everyday I go to work. It is a little larger than "pocket-sized" which was not my preference but several features of this calendar help me overlook the size.It's well made and the quality of the paper is excellent. The print inside and outside is of excellent quality as well. The layout is exactly what I was looking for. I had a non-standard need for a Monday to Sunday week-at-glance calendar view. Furthermore the date and day layout were also dead-on perfect for my formatting requirements as I use this as a quick diary of work events and dates. The binding is just a shade less than perfect, lending this calendar book the feel of being hand bound and of artisan handwork. I have only two wishes for this calendar: that it came in the same printed format in a pocket size and that the printing and binding were done in the USA..
Unless I find a better product that meets all my needs I will repurchase this again for next calendar year.

Peter Pauper has the best planners, and this is no exception. I love the handy pockets inside. Always beautiful designs on the covers. They are sturdy and hold up for the entire year joggling around in my purse with no problems. Have repurchased many times and will continue to do so.
I had the same type of planner last year and loved the format and size so much that I searched for the same type this year. However, the elastic band popped out in just a few weeks. I have to rig it to get it back in (since that is one of the things I like about this planner) and then the other side popped out. So now I have it rigged with safety pins an super glue, and it's only a couple of months into the year.
This calendar is the same one I have been using for the last three years. I like its portability, functionality, size, closure, even the little pocket in the back. Thatnks peter pauper press.
Fits into almost all handbags. Elegant hard cover. Still looks good at the end of the year. This is the second year I'm ordering one - wish I had an excuse to buy more than one a year!
Pros
--cute design
--just the right size for a medium purse, over the shoulder bag, or backpack
--elastic string for easy flipping to the current week
--16 months long because Peter knows I'm lazy and will forget to buy a new planner every year so he threw in 4 extra months to compensate. Good looking out, Pete.
Cons
--The days of the week are not capitalized, which is not a big deal but I wanted to find a "con." You can't make a pros and cons list without the latter lol.
For the price they offer, it is a really nice calendar and planner. I didn't expect for it to be such a great quality. We don't use calendars that often, we discard them after a while, but this is just really well organized. It's small and thin. Just was I was looking for to fit any bag or backpack. I would almost feel bad to throw it away because the cover is so pleasant to look at. The delivery was quick as well. They wrapped it really nicely. Also it has a small pouch on the back cover to put your notes in, or if you rip out any pages.
I bought this last for 2012 and loved it so much that when it was time to replace it, I searched for the exact same planner. I love the front because it has fragile lines of gold within the design. The colors are warm, design is beautiful (in my opinion), it is slim width-wise, it isn't too large height-wise, but at the same time it provides a good amount of space for each day. Of course it depends on what your individual needs are for a planner, but I'm a student at university with a heavy course load and am involved in some other things, and it works very well for me. If anything, I wish it was a little bit bigger, but I am still very happy with it.
